Happy Friday! Today I have my Nail Polish of the Week!
Its a gorgeous color by OPI called Dim Sum Plum. It is a dark yet vibrant plumy, magenta color!
I bought this in a recent haul at Ulta for $8.00 and it is a great summer polish, yet I like polishes that can be versitle and be worn in the fall season, and this one def. could.
This color came out with the Hong Kong Spring 2010 collection.
There were many cool and creative colors in this collection but this one stood out for some reason, more than the others.

Dim Sum Plum is now one of my favorite shades of polish in my whole collection.. It's a creme formulation, with a base purple plum, but it has a hint of a pinky magenta hue in it as well. It’s not to dark but not to bright it’s the perfect in-between. A shade will would be a good dupe for this is “All That Razz-Berry” but it has more of a purple tone in it.
Dim Sum Plum is very easy to apply, I’m wearing 2 coats and the pigmentation is great. The formula of this color from the Hong Kong Collection is the one of the best I’ve worked with. It dries really quickly and it doesn't streak at all. When you apply it to the nail it is opaque and not gloopy. Like I said, I applied 2 coats and I got complete coverage of the nail.
This color also suits my olive skin tone. But I guess lots of different skin tone girls would like this color too because it compliments everyone! I think I will wear this color for a long time.
Here is the color under office lights, without flash...
I will post a few more picture in a little bit! ^_^
Thanks for stopping by!
