Today I have a review of the new lipglosses from Revlon. Silky, Sexy, Brilliant. Glossy formula combines sheer color and intense moisture with light-reflecting spheres to create amazing shine. SPF 15
They are great for summer because they contain a SPF 15 and they are super creamy and moisturizing!
The two on the left ( Pink Afterglow and Lilac Pastelle remind me of MAC Creamsheen Glass) They have a little hint of sparle but they are more on the milky side. They come off quite pigmented for a gloss and they aren't sticky.
The two to the right (Life's a Peach and Foiled) are more of a Dazzleglass/Lipglass formulation. They are more on the sparkly side.
for more pictures and swatches...
Pink Afterglow adds a great pop of baby pink to the lips!
This is a great summer for color and will compliment many skintones and various ages.
With a hint of sparkle, but much more of a milky creamy finish it is ultra moisturizing and less irritating to the lips if you don't like a super glittery lipgloss.
Pair this a top the new MAC Lip Stain Marker for a nice pop of extra pink pa-zow and and to add a sexy sheen and creamy finish to the lips
Lilac Pastelle is a fun, funcky and fresh color for the summer!
This lipgloss can look scary in the tube but on the lips it's heaven, it has a moisture rich formulation as well and is a creamy pastel finish. Place this gloss a top a bold lipstick to tone it down or wear on the lips alone for a nice lavandar, pinky nude effect.
This gloss would work well to also spice up a bland nude lipstick for a night out with a smokey eye!
Life's a Peach is right when you wear this beautifull gloss!
This gloss compliments almost everyones skintone and is another great lip color to wear with a smokey eye.
This gloss is a sheertone formulation with a mixture of rosey gold shimmers.
This shade is a little more on the sparkly side yet it is subtle and is not rough on the lips.
Life's a Peach would look fabulous with a natural eye using bronzey, coppers, browns and of course peach!
This is the last lipgloss I picked up and I'm so glad I did! This one is Foiled!
This color would best be described as a muted gold with gold micro shimmers, and it is an awesome color.
Foiled adds a great natual sheen to the lips for summer and will look fabulous with a tan!
I could see wearing this color with the aboved mentioned-- smokey eye, natural eye, but I think this would look so good under a soft brown lip and paired with a strong liner. I think this color would compliment green shades on the eye because of the gold contained in the product!
All of these are great lipglosses. Overall Revlon Super Lusterous Lipglosses are very moisturizing, non sticky, come in a variety of colors and they all contain SPF 15 for the summer season! I would definiatly give these a try for a change, The price is a steal compared to MAC and for a drugstore product the quality is great and they are worth the price!
